Separators are designed to remove moisture from steam pipelines, as well as from compressed air systems. Steam or compressed air, passing through the separator under the action of centrifugal forces and the effect of twisting the flow, loses moisture particles, which, separating from the main stream together with rust particles, dirt and welding hail, are removed through the drainage hole in the bottom of the separator.
